During labor and birth, midwives are responsible for supporting the woman and her partner and helping to ensure a safe delivery. They help the woman to make informed decisions based on her own individual needs and preferences. After the baby is born, midwives provide postpartum care, including assessments, education, follow-up visits, and support for breastfeeding. Midwives also provide gynecological care and education to women throughout their reproductive life cycles.
