Biography:
Akebom is a gynecologist and obstetrician working in a war-affected region of Ethiopia, where he provides care under challenging conditions. His clinical experience has given him significant exposure to maternal mental health issues, particularly among pregnant women facing trauma and instability. He is a young researcher committed to advancing knowledge in this field and improving patient outcomes. Currently, he serves as both a clinician and teaching staff at Mekelle University College of Health Sciences, where he contributes to training future healthcare professionals while pursuing his research interests in maternal mental health.
