Title : Clitoral augmentation by PRP and mono PDO Threads to Improve female sexuality
Abstract:
Purpose: We tried to improve the Female sexual functions for women who underwent genital multination where the sexual dysfunction was the main complaint. In this study, we aimed to assess the safety and efficacy of absorbable threads made of polydioxanone PDO threads in rejuvenation and augmentation of the circumcised clitoris and to improve female sexuality.
Patients and Methods: This study was conducted on 15 females, ages 32-50 presenting with complaints of sexual dysfunction (desire, arousal, orgasm, or satisfaction), All patients were treated by Platelets rich plasma local injection and mono PDO (30G29Mm) in the clitoral area, We evaluated outcomes using The female sexual function index (FSFI) as a measure.
Results: Our data indicate that the treatment enhances sexual function in women in multiple domains—including desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction, and overall sexual function. Conclusion: The use of absorbable threads is an innovative, safe minimally invasive approach to clitoral rejuvenation.
