Biography:
Elesha Foord is a fourth-year medical student at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) with an interest in public health and health inequalities. This mixed-methods systematic review is their first research project and examines the intersections between violence and menstrual health among adult menstruators. Their work focuses on the role of social and structural determinants in shaping reproductive health outcomes and aims to contribute evidence to inform policy and preventive approaches. They are keen to continue developing research skills alongside clinical training.
