Biography:
Bachelor in Physical Therapy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (1994), Bachelor in Physical Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (1989), Master in Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (1996) and Doctor in Sports Sciences from the Faculty of Sport of University of Porto (2007), Visiting Researcher at the University Health Network-Toronto General Hospital in Internal Medicine July 2019 to January 2020. Professor of the Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering and Professor of the Graduate Program in Physical Education and Health at Federal University of Technology. Research developed in fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, bariatric surgery. He is currently developing a primary health project on the risk of falls and fractures in the elderly people.
