Biography:
Cristina, originally from Ecuador. she grew up in a beautiful coastal city where she developed a deep love for animals, volleyball, and helping people. Playing volleyball taught her to be a team player and empathetic. Her interest in medicine grew during high school, where she often offered informal health advice with her parents' supervision, both doctors. After medical school in Quito, where she rotated through both private and public hospitals, she saw firsthand the challenges people face with limited access to quality medical care. Determined to expand her skills, she came to the United States to develop clinical abilities and gain new perspectives in patient care, with a focus on compassion, connection, and making a difference.
