Biography:
Junaid Rafi is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a distinguished academic and clinical profile, with expertise in early pregnancy, acute gynaecology, colposcopy, menopause, rapid diagnostic services, and interest in fetal well being in labour and high-risk obstetrics. He has developed expertise in Transperineal Ultrasound (TPU) prior to instrumental vaginal delivery, an emerging evidence-based practice in the UK. He has authored over 55 peer-reviewed publications and acts as a peer-reviewer for several journals. He contributed at a national level as an NCEPOD case reviewer and through senior roles within the RCOG, including the Scientific Advisory Committee. He has also authored and served as lead reviewer for key Scientific Impact Papers, influencing evidence-based practice and advancing clinical standards in women’s health.
