Biography:
Dr. Koneru Gangadhara Rao is a senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with more than four decades of dedicated service in women’s health. He completed his MBBS from Kurnool Medical College under S.V. University in 1978 and went on to earn his MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the same institution in 1986.
Following his MBBS, Dr. Rao received government training in Tropical Medicine, which broadened his clinical perspective and enhanced his ability to manage conditions prevalent in tropical regions. His primary expertise, however, lies in obstetrics and gynaecology, where he has guided countless patients through safe pregnancies, deliveries, and complex gynecological care. Dr. Rao practices in Vijayawada and is also associated with NRI Medical College & General Hospital, Guntur, where he contributes to both patient care and medical education. He is an active member of professional bodies such as FOGSI and the Indian Medical Association, reflecting his commitment to advancing medical standards and supporting the wider healthcare community. With his extensive experience and compassionate approach, Dr. Rao continues to be a trusted name in women’s healthcare in Andhra Pradesh.
