Biography:
Ms. Angham received her master’s in public health from Nottingham Trent University-UK in 2021. She is a Graduate Assistant at the College of Medicine-QU and is currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical and Population Health Research, investigating the effects of prenatal psychological distress (PPD) on maternal and fetal health outcomes. Angham was a public health specialist at the Ministry of Public Health Qatar (2022-2023) and research manager of the Qatari Birth Cohort study in Qatar Biobank (2019-2020). She recently published a systematic review and meta-analysis demonstrating the effects of PPD on altering the expression of fetoplacental stress genes.
